Marblehead - The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce and the Marblehead Counseling Center are teaming up again to host the fourth annual Rey Moulton Memorial Marblehead Open golf tournament on Monday, Aug. 3 at the Kernwood Country Club in Salem.

“We have sponsorship opportunities available and are seeking golfers to join us for a wonderful golf outing, auction and barbecue,” Chamber Executive Director Ann Marie Casey said. “Last year, more than 120 golfers came out to enjoy this spectacular event, supporting two great causes, and having a fantastic day of golf, networking, prizes, food and friends.”

Casey thanked this year’s major sponsors: The Landing Restaurant, Devereux House, Coastal Care, Eastern Bank, The Lafayette, Marblehead Bank, National Grand Bank and R.C. Havens.

This tournament is a remembrance for a dear friend of the Chamber and the Marblehead community, Rey Moulton.

“Rey was a ‘champion for Marblehead,’ giving consistently to over 50 charities and organizations in and around Marblehead,” Casey explained.

Moulton was a longstanding member of the Chamber of Commerce and various other community organizations. Proceeds of the tournament benefit the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce and the Marblehead Counseling Center.
